Pamela Murray – Registered Provisional Psychologist, MC
I believe in a holistic and collaborative approach to counselling. I believe individuals are the experts in their own lives and have strengths and resources from which to solve their problems. My goal is to provide a safe, non- judgmental space in which to help you explore the relationship with issues you may be struggling with.
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist and I completed my Master’s of Counselling Psychology through Athabasca University. I have experience working with children, youth and adults focusing on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, disorder eating, attachment and relationship issues.
In the past I have worked in community and classroom settings. I have extensively worked with families and their unique needs for over 7 years. I am aware that there are contextual and cultural factors that impact all individuals and I have experience working with clients of various backgrounds.
For those who interested in the more technical terms I practice primarily using Narrative Therapy along with elements of Solution Focused Therapy, Hakomi and Mindfulness to best meet the needs of my clients. I am looking forward to joining with you on this part of your journey.
