We take a holistic approach to your care, addressing every part of your health from the emotional support from our staff psychologist to the skilled spinal adjustments of our experienced chiropractors. Exercise is a fundamental part of our care regimen and we offer physiotherapist and yoga instructors to get you feeling great inside and out, plus many additional services. As I was studying at the University of Manitoba to obtain my Bachelor of Science Degree, I decided to pursue a career in Chiropractic after seeing how the profession helped my grandfather. He had a shoulder problem and had used the Medical approach for assistance. After numerous medical doctor visits and invasive tests, they could not help him or figure out what was causing his pain. In 2005, I graduated from the University of Saskatchewan receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology with a major in Exercise and Sport studies and a minor in Psychology.

Before going on to study Chiropractic, I spent a number of years teaching English as a second language across east Asia. An Edmonton local, Dr. Dekterov earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta. He moved across the country to achieve his dream of becoming a chiropractor at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She completed a Bachelors degree in Science at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, and then a doctorate at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, BC. She has further training in intravenous therapies, pharmaceutical prescribing and emergency procedures.

I received my bachelor of science in physical therapy from the University of Alberta in 1993. I went on to receive my Certificate of Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2004 and my GunnIMS certificate in 2006. I have just begun my McKenzie courses and have completed part A.

I have been an exercise enthusiast my whole life from gymnastics to basketball in my youth, to fitness and running as I got older. I have an amazing group of women that I trail run with now and who convince me to do crazy things like Spartan runs!

I graduated from the University of Calgary, University of Lethbridge and the Athabasca University with a Masters in Counselling Psychology and later completed a Post Masters Certificate in Counselling Psychology. I also have a Bachelor of Education and have been a teacher, behaviour specialist, and school psychologist for over 20 years. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents and have found working with this age group to be tremendously rewarding
